Andrew Morris has been a qualified Business Broker since 2012. He joined Benchmark Business and Commercial Sales in February 2020 after gaining invaluable experience from his own business sales brokerages.
Andrew has an extensive background in senior management, working internationally and locally. Starting 40 years ago his first management role was as a National Sales Manager of an International manufacturing company before he moved into Senior and General Management / Director roles. Andrew’s own company became a leading importer of catering equipment throughout Australia and New Zealand, achieving an annual turnover of over $14 million. This business was sold to the equipment manufacturer before Andrew joined the Business Broking industry.
With Andrew's experience in commercial business and his strong technical background covering many areas, joining Benchmark has given Andrew the opportunity to specialise within the Engineering, Industrial and Mechanical industries. Andrew has successfully sold small, medium and large businesses across QLD.
After achieving success in selling $10 million to $50 million businesses, Andrew also works under Benchmark’s Corporate division that manages mergers and acquisitions.
Andrew has received many awards whilst working as a business Broker and there is no doubt that his experience, knowledge, and dedication will gain more recognition in the future.
Andrew’s zest for business along with his diverse industry knowledge and lateral thinking skills are all called into action when he takes on the challenge of selling his clients’ businesses. Andrew has overseen sales totalling more than $90 million in transaction value across a mix of business structures, including Acquisitions and Management Buyouts, Mergers, Asset Sales and Mergers.
Andrew understands the intricacies of operating large and medium/small businesses and what is required to help each owner achieve their sale. He welcomes inquiries from business owners who are planning to sell now or in the future.
In 2019 Andrew was invited to join the Australian Institute of Business Brokers Queensland Chapter and more recently to be a trainer for new Business Brokers and to become a member of the National Board.
